Clients we work with
When anxiety is rooted in past experiences.
Sometimes anxiety isn’t just about what’s happening right now. It can be your nervous system responding to earlier experiences that were overwhelming, painful, or unpredictable. When those experiences aren’t fully processed, the body can stay on high alert — even when you’re safe. You might notice intense reactions, difficulty calming down, or patterns that feel bigger than the situation in front of you. In these cases, therapy isn’t just about managing symptoms. It’s about gently understanding and resolving the deeper roots that keep anxiety activated.
If you’re noticing your anxiety feels connected to earlier experiences or long-standing patterns, you can learn more about our trauma-informed therapy approach here.
